The same pearls, taken up to the collarbone. Flat baroque shell pearls in gently varying sizes, each with its own ripple and lustre, are strung with small gold tone beads between them so the strand sits soft rather than stiff. The gold toggle is worn at the front of the throat instead of hidden at the back, and one larger pearl hangs from the bar, so the closure becomes the centrepiece.
