A chain is infrastructure. It carries pendants, anchors layers, and gets worn on days when nothing else does, so it has to survive being slept in, showered near and pulled by a dupatta.

Ours are made with soldered links and a sealed 18K gold finish, in three lengths that cover the necklines Indian wardrobes actually use.

Fine does not mean fragile: our chains are solid rather than hollow-drawn, which is where cheap chains give way.

    Soldered, solid links

Closed and solid rather than butted and hollow, the two failure points that account for most broken chains.

    Three usable lengths

40 cm sits at the throat, 45 cm at the collarbone, 50 cm just below. Together they layer without adjustment.

Clasp that can be worked one-handed

A properly sprung lobster clasp, sized so it can actually be opened without a second person.

    Questions we get asked

What is the best chain length for women in India?
45 cm is the most versatile, it clears a kurta neckline and sits correctly over a shirt. 40 cm suits high necks, 50 cm suits pendants.
Can I wear a gold finished chain daily?
Yes. Take it off before showering and sleeping, and the sealed finish will hold its colour for a long time.
Will a fine chain break easily?
Not if the links are soldered and solid. Most breakages happen at open links or hollow-drawn sections, neither of which we use.
Can I use these chains for a mangalsutra pendant?
Many clients do. Message the atelier with the pendant weight and we will tell you which chain gauge to choose.
