Layering fails for a mechanical reason, not an aesthetic one: two chains at similar lengths will twist around each other within an hour. The fix is spacing, not styling.

Our chains are cut to lengths that stagger deliberately, a choker-length, a collarbone-length and a pendant drop, so each sits in its own plane and stays there.

Links are soldered closed rather than butted, which is what stops a fine chain opening up under the tension of a second one.

    Staggered lengths

Chains are cut so consecutive layers sit far enough apart to avoid tangling through a full day of movement.

    Soldered links

Every link is closed. Butted links open under layering tension, which is the most common way a fine chain is lost.

    One gold across layers

The same sealed finish on every chain, so layers bought separately still read as a designed set.

    Questions we get asked

How do I stop layered necklaces from tangling?
Space them by at least 5 cm in length and keep textures different, a flat snake chain next to a rope chain slides past instead of catching.
How many necklaces should I layer?
Two or three. Beyond that the individual pieces stop reading and it becomes one mass at the neckline.
What lengths work for layering in India?
40 cm, 45 cm and 50 cm is the most reliable trio, it works over a kurta as well as over a shirt.
Can I layer a pendant with a plain chain?
Yes, and it is the easiest place to start. Put the pendant on the longer chain so it hangs clear of the shorter one.
